The Yashica-Mat is a medium format TLR (twin lens reflex) camera that uses 120 film to produce a 6x6cm negative. Introduced in 1957, the Yashica-Mat was designed to compete with the Rollei Rolleicord and Minolta Autocord cameras. It features automatic film winding (winding stops at each frame, as opposed to lining numbers up in a red window), a Copal-MXV shutter with top speed of 1/500, and a great lens.
